MY CUP RUNNETH OVER (WHY?) | INDIANAPOLIS, IN

from $50.00

While on a virtual “sculpture” tour at the University of Indianapolis, I came across “MY CUP RUNNETH OVER - WHY?” The sculpture features an overflowing bowl (aka “bird-bath”) with a prominent subject (base) who appears to be scratching his head. I was really drawn to the image, as the color palette is beautiful and the texture and detail of the base is spectacular. I recently re-visitied the sculpture and due to aging (patina) and discoloration, no-longer has the brilliance I had previously captured. Regardless of its’ age, the image reminds me of how grateful and blessed I am. And of course, I sometimes ask “Why?”
